Monica Burns - Class Tech Tips

     Class Tech Tips is a resource for educators grades K-12.  The purpose of this blog is to show teachers ways that they can integrate technology in their classrooms.  Monica helps teachers stay up-to-date with the latest educational technology and has technology-friendly lessons available at your fingertips that can be delivered directly to your inbox.  These tips, tools, and ideas can be applied right away.  

    In Monica's post "5 Things I've Learned from Hosting Webinars about AI", Monica explains how technology tools are now at our fingertips because of AI.   The thing that stuck with me most is that Monica does not pretend that she has all of the answers about technology.  We are human and we are still learning every day.  As she has been hosting AI Webinars, she has learned that there needs to be time provided to try, consider it a series (not a one-time event), include something low stakes, provide options for exploration, and make resources interactive and available.  

Class Tech Tips by Monica Burns is updated weekly.  Each week you can find blog posts with lesson ideas, new technology tools, and ways to use technology in the k-12 classroom.  Her mission is to help teachers integrate technology in the classroom in a meaningful way, but still starting small.  Over time, these small changes will become a transformation.  

Each student in our school is one-to-one with technology.  With technology at our finger tips, it is our job to find ways to help technology benefit our students and stay up-to-date with current tools.  We can reach every learner through technology.
